Daniel(le) Penrose Geneste (she/they) is a 19 year old digital artist living on the tiny island state of Tasmania, Australia. DPG began making art as a little kid tracing screenshots of her favourite animes and mangas, going on to draw for every fandom under the sun.
DPG Art is for the young adult looking for a nostalgia kick of everything they loved in 2016, (who may or may not immediately understand how they got the name [Dan]) and for the local fandom geek looking for someone to draw their self inserts and fankids.
DPG’s simple life in a tiny town in a tiny state has made the softness of nature seep into everything they do, there is little DPG can’t romanticise now. If you were to ask their inspirations with the direct intention of them giving the most annoying artsy response possible they would tell you the wattle flower smell in the spring, the joy of sharing drinks and foods, the sound of Ella Fitzgerald’s voice, and the honeyed smell of apples as they grow to full ripeness. If you wanted her to actually list real inspirations, she’d say Impressionism and Wendy Sharpe and start talking about Fauvism until you had to pretend to be sick to get away.

or the simple and love for creating with her into every new endeavour. Still living with their parents and many cats, DPG plans to study fine arts in university and become an artteacher to pass their love of all things art onto the future generations.
